Whats worse than a broken dishwasher??

Can you believe my dishwasher broke on Saturday, and my dryer broke on Sunday? Well they did, and in a house of 10 people these are 2 of the worse things to break, especially at the same time. OK, I could go to a Laundromat, but they don't have places that do your dishes!!!

I don't consider myself a redneck but, I wouldn't mind this at my special occasion!!!

Not many posts lately....But I have an excuse....

As you can see, there is something wrong with my camera. The only way I posted what I did lately, was if I got a chance to use Dominic's camera. So the real point of this post is.....

My birthday is coming up on 11/07/2008 and if anyone has any suggestions on a not too expensive, but nice camera, could you let Frank know? I really would be so happy. Thanks in advance!!!

Today is Frank's 48th birthday!!

It's amazing how the years go by, I met him in high school when he was 16 years old, when we got married, he was 21, and now he's 48!! Nothing has really changed much though, maybe a little grayer, (OK, a lot grayer) but that's about it!! I'm glad, I wouldn't want him any other way!! Happy Birthday Frank.....

And They're Off......

September 3rd....The best day of the year!!! Only kidding, I like when the kids are home, but after having them home the whole summer, it's time to let them go again.These pictures are in order starting with Franky leaving at 7am, to Daniella Bella Rina leaving at 8:50am, and Dominic leaving at 11:30am for his vocational school, but that's just for today. Dominic's high school doesn't start until tomorrow, at which time HE will be the first one out the door with the bus coming at 6:25am.YUK!!

My boys are back....

Angelo and Mario were upstate so long I almost forgot how much noise the two of them make!! I'm only kidding, I'm so glad they are back, and now I got rid of Dominic and Franky for a couple of weeks!!! Now, IT WILL be quieter, and neater too...

I'll still miss them.

Happy Anniversary........TO US !!!!

That's right, Today is our 26th wedding anniversary! I just can't believe it's been that long already. Everyone always says how fast the years go by , but I'm telling you, the years really are flying by. Today we went to the Victorian Tea Room in Farmingdale. It was so nice. Then tonight we went to Ciao Baby for dinner. We always wanted to go there, since it's only about 10 minutes from our house, plus we always hear such good things about it. What they say was true!! The food was really great and the portions were....Let me just say we took home more then what we ate! It was a great day.

Norma bought me this giant tea cup about a month ago, but I made her wait to give it to me until today, isn't it beautiful?

This is the plant I got as a wedding gift 26 years ago from one of my nail customers. It just amazes me how this plant is so healthy, and still going strong after so many years. Frank always said the plant responded to how our marriage was doing, sometimes it didn't always look so healthy :(

But, today, it's doing fine :)
