I look at Craig's list all day long, the free listings of course. I have gotten so many things from there already, but yesterday I think was the best. I'm just amazed at what people will just give away, from furniture, to pets, to riding lawn mowers, etc. I have always wanted a piano. I even had Frank make me a "piano wall" so when I got my piano some day I would have the perfect place for it. Well I got the piano yesterday from Craig's list, the wall didn't work out, but in this case so what, I got my piano!!!!!

Isn't it beautiful? If only I could play it....

GOODBYE OLD FRIEND.......

Well, the time finally came. Our old 1989 GMC Suburban had to go. Since 1978, Frank and I have had only trucks or vans, but this one was my favorite. It was the first truck we had that fit all the kids in it!! This truck has had a new engine, a new transmission, the rearend rebuilt, and so many other parts replaced, and now when the transmission went again, we realised it was time to let him go. He really served our family well.

Last night while cooking, I asked Dominic to cut a stick of butter in half, one for each of 2 bowls of corn I was making, ANYBODY else would have just cut the stick of butter in half, down the middle....not Dominic!!!!

IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE!!!!!!!

It finally showed up.... SPRING!! Ok, it's not really that warm today, or sunny, but it made it, so it's got to get better from here. No more snow or cold, ( actually they are predicting something for this week) but it can't be all that bad. So starting real soon, I'll be in the garden planting my vegetables, and flowers, and just sitting in my "little Italy" enjoying the warm weather and watching all my birds in the yard. I love the spring and summer. Winter could be canceled and I'd be just fine with that!!!

ANTHONY IS 18 YEARS OLD TODAY !!!!!!

WOW, Anthony is 18 years old. Where does the time go. I know everyone always says that, but, since the day Anthony was born he always had "issues" he was born with a congenital heart condition, and was so sick until his open heart surgery at 16 months old, and having to deal with ADHD and Tourette's Syndrome since he was about 6 yrs. old, he's had his share. But, let me tell you, to see him today at 18, being an honor student in high school, and also an auto mechanic student, applying to colleges, it just really amazes me. I'm so proud of him and know he can do anything he sets his mind to. Keep it up Anthony, and Happy Birthday Baby!!!
