Something Cool...

I'm not a big fan of spiders or any bugs
for that matter, but I do think it's so
cool how this web is made and how
"Charlotte" as my sister Norma has
named her, keeps repairing her web.
This spider web has been up for about
a week already. I think Norma is starting
to get attached, she's worried that if it
rains it will be destroyed. When I was
taking these pictures, Charlotte was away
from her web but she'll be back. Norma
says she's big, hairy, and red ! I'm glad she wasn't there to pose for me !!

Anthony just havin' some fun....

Anthony had an 8:30 am appointment today to get the rest of his braces off. He said his teeth feel so good. It's been a long 3 years !! But it was worth it, he looks great.

After the appointment we had to go to the costume store to get another cowboy hat for Frank. While we were there, Anthony just had to try on some of the hats.

A Man With Many Hats....

Anyone who knows Frank, even for a short time, knows he can do anything and he does it good. But did you know he can bake? Bread? Yes he can, and he did, last night. I just mentioned that I wanted to make bread that had sun dried tomatoes in one and oil cured olives in the other. Well he heard that, and decided he would make 4 loaves. Yesterday after the morning service, he prepared the dough, let them rise, then kneaded in the tomatoes, olives, prosciutto and mozzarella cheese, he let them rise while we were at the night service, and when we got home from church, he baked them. They came out looking great. We tasted them this morning and they taste great as well.

Well Frank, you can add another hat !!!

A New Football Star Is Born.....

Angelo started football practice on the first day of school, and has practice 6 days a week. Today he got his first pieces to his uniform. It will look better when he gets his shoulder pads and pants on Monday. Wednesday will be his first scrimmage and hopefully, next week his first game. His positions so far, will be offensive and defensive line. Rocco wants him to be a fullback or a linebacker, we'll see.

She Did It...

Daniella Bella Rina learned to ride a 2 wheeler this week!! When she decided to learn she didn't stop until she did it. Norma, Franky, Anthony, and Rocco at one time or another, were all out there running with her, catching her, and all the stuff that goes along with learning to ride.What really got her motivated though, was when she started to get a little discouraged , I suggested she try and run me over, that got her going, it always worked with my boys too!!
It made her laugh, it's all in fun. Great job Daniella!!

BARRY GREER......

Here is our families very best friend Barry!! I can't
believe we "only" know him for 2 & 1/2 years. We
all feel so close and comfortable with him, it's like
he was always a part of our lives. The kids are always
asking about him, and when Frank gets home from
wherever, we all ask "did you hear from Barry today?"
When he comes over our house, we all, always have a
great time, plus he really spends a lot of time with the
kids from, playing football, games, or just getting
involved in a discussion about life and of course The Bible.

There's a little tiny house that's been
empty for years upstate just down the road from my in-laws. On the side and behind their land is this "stream". It goes on forever, Barry wanted to take the kids there so off we all went, even me! But Frank and I cheated and found a short cut to this beautiful spot!! I can't believe they all went in the water, they said it was "freezing."

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACHEL....

On Saturday night, we were getting ready to celebrate Frank's birthday again!! In the course of the day we got in contact with Rachel and when we heard it was her birthday as well that week, we asked her to come over, and luckily for us she said yes!! We had the best time ever, she is just so much fun. We had a bar-b-que and cake and just sat outside and talked for hours.

Rachel's Dog "RIGATONI " isn't that the best name ever? And he's just as cute.Well Rachel promised to bring Rigatoni over for "a play date" with Butchy Boy. We can't wait to meet him in person.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRANK !!!

Today is Frank's 47th Birthday! We celebrated his birthday upstate with his parents on Monday, then today when he got home around 4:30 pm we had a cake I baked for him, then after church, Frank, Barry, Anthony, and me, went to Chilli's. We had a great time as usual. This week is a little hectic, so on Saturday, we'll have a dinner for him with the kids, so we can all spend more time together. All in all I think he's doing pretty good this year!!

I forgot to take my camera tonight out with us, so I only have one picture from this afternoon.

AND THEY'RE OFF.......

It finally came again this year, the first day of school. I thought it would never get here!! I have to admit this was a long summer. The kids all got off OK, 3 at 7:00 am and 2 at 7:30 am. Rocco is on his own, his college schedule is all different hours. Daniella Bella Rina leaves at 9:00 am. Only 180 school days till they're home for the summer again.....

Even at 6:30 am, Franky is looking "COOL"
in his shades!! Dominic is taking his first day
very serious.



Angelo and Mario don't seem like they mind the
first day at all. Mario is now joining Angelo
in Middle school... I feel sooo old!!

Anthony can't wait to bring his "own" car to school this year to work on.

Daniella Bella Rina had the house to herself from 7:30 am till 9:00 am!! Nice and peaceful for a little while anyway!!
